Hello, I'm Elizabeth
Portrait Photographer
Hello!
I am so glad you found me and can't wait to get started making your portrait dreams come true.
I am a mother, a wife to an Army Veteran, and a photographer.
When I was in middle school, I started borrowing my parent's camera and loved taking photos of nature. When I was 15, I saved up my babysitting money to purchase my first camera and fell in love with artistic photography.
By the time I had my own children (2 cameras later), I learned to love portrait photography as well and decided to turn it into a career so that I could spend more time making memories with my family, the rest is history.
I love finding magic in the world around me and I can't wait to find the magic in your portraits!
My approach

I invest in you and your family by getting to know you. This approach allows me to help everyone feel more comfortable and relaxed for those natural feeling portraits.
I start by sitting down with you to learn your goals for the Creative Session (the finished artwork ie., holiday cards, portraits for the wall, albums for the coffee table, ornaments for holiday gifts...), and to learn about your family. Then we create a package that meets your needs, pick a location, and schedule our Creative Session (I like to give us about a month as we will be ironing out all the details leading up to the Session e.g., outfits, hair, makeup, props...). During the Creative Session we will play games and have conversations as we capture beautiful memories. After the Creative Session, I will be hard at work adding artistic touches (with your final goals in mind) to create beautiful artwork and once it is ready we will get together for the big reveal!
For the Reveal we will sit down together and watch a slideshow of those memories we made, we will watch it a few times, and then you will pick your favorites and decide how they will be used (e.g., on the wall, in an album, on a card...). Finally, I have your selections turned into the final artwork and once it's ready, I return to your home and hang it on the wall or place it in your hands for your family to enjoy for years and generations to come!
